Different Grades of Leather Furniture

Many people who purchasing the leather furniture are not really familiar about it. Actually, if you know the difference between the leathers, you can choose the most suitable for your life style. If you want to buy something, you need to know every detail about it and see if you can get the best your money can buy. There are four grades of leather furniture, the top of the line is full grain, and then comes top grain, followed by split grain and bonded leather.

As you can imagine, the best type of leather furniture have a higher price than the other kind of leather. But if you compare the price with the quality, you will find that it is reasonable. These full grains are considered very eloquent and also delicate. You can use this type of leather if you know you wouldn’t be getting it dirty or damaged at all. Top grain leather is also another amazing type of leather. This type is better if you will be using your furniture everyday. You still should avoid having food or drinks on this type of leather.

But if you have many little kids who prefer playing in your living room than the house yard, it’s better if you buy the split grain leather than both types above. Split grain is much cheaper than the higher grade but ironically will wear better especially if you are feasting on them. If you happen to run into furniture that says it is made from bonded leather you should turn away because it is the poorest quality. If you want to get what the average family has then you can simply get the most affordable one which is the split grain.
